Overview: As an Employee Benefits Client Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic management and administration of employee benefit programs for clients. This role requires a deep understanding of employee benefits, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their employee benefits programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Understand clients' business objectives and align employee benefits strategies accordingly.

2. Strategic Planning:
  • Develop strategic plans for clients' employee benefits programs based on their unique needs and objectives.
  • Recommend innovative solutions to enhance the effectiveness and competitiveness of benefit offerings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and relevance of benefit programs.

3. Account Administration:
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of clients' employee benefits plans, including enrollment, eligibility, and claims processing.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, such as benefits specialists and actuaries, to deliver timely and accurate services to clients.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of benefit program operations.

4. Consultative Support:
  • Provide expert guidance and consultation to clients on various employee benefits topics, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Analyze data and metrics to assess the performance and impact of benefit programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist clients in communicating benefit offerings to employees and addressing any questions or concerns.

5. Renewal Management:
  • Lead the renewal process for clients' employee benefits plans, including negotiating rates with insurance carriers and recommending plan design changes as needed.
  • Prepare comprehensive renewal presentations and proposals for clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

6. Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, underwriting, and legal, to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior account management staff, fostering their professional development and growth.

Qualifications:
  • At least five years of experience in employee benefits administration or related field, with a focus on account management.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of employee benefits laws and regulations, including ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
