Your Responsibilities
As a Employee Relations Representative for JD Power Products located in Greeneville, TN, you will:
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns regarding workplace policies, procedures, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct investigations into employee concerns and recommend appropriate resolutions.
- Collaborate with management to promote a positive work environment and enhance employee engagement.
Human Resources Support:
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
- Support performance management processes, including feedback, evaluations, and development plans.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and legal requirements.
Continuous Improvement Coordinator:
- Lead initiatives to drive process improvements within the factory, focusing on efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to engage employees in continuous improvement methodologies.
- Monitor and report on the progress of improvement initiatives, identifying areas for further enhancement.
Communications Lead:
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Create and distribute newsletters, bulletins, and other communication materials that promote company culture and values.
- Coordinate and facilitate employee meetings, events, and recognition programs to foster teamwork and collaboration.

What Skills You Need
- 2+ years of experience in human resources, employee relations, or a related area.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
What Makes You Standout
- Experience in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Previous experience with policy administration and disciplinary/compliance investigations.
- Experience supporting a large (500+ employee) workforce.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
