Employment Law Litigation Associate

We are seeking an experienced Employment Law Litigation Associate to join our dynamic legal team in California, with offices in Irvine, San Diego, and San Francisco. In this role, you will handle complex wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases, providing you with the opportunity to work on high-stakes litigation alongside seasoned professionals. Salary: $220,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Direct handling and oversight of California wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases.
  • Conducting detailed case management from inception through resolution, including but not limited to drafting and responding to discovery, crafting initial pleadings, and filing necessary motions.
  • Taking and defending depositions to gather necessary case details and evidence.
  • Collaborating effectively within a team setting while also having the capacity to manage and progress projects independently.
  • Participating actively in client meetings and court proceedings, ensuring effective communication and advocacy.
  • Mentoring from experienced partners with the aim of professional skill enhancement and career progression.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of focused experience in employment litigation, specifically with wage and hour litigation including class/collective actions.
  • Must be currently admitted to practice in California.
  • Demonstrated capability to handle multiple ongoing cases in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong foundational legal skills with proven analytical and precision-driven writing capabilities.
  • Must be a self-starter, capable of leading initiatives and projects with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a leadership role within case teams is highly regarded.
  • Background in employing technology and litigation support software for case management.
  • Proven track record of successful settlement and trial outcomes is advantageous.
