Description:

The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD ("The HARRIS CENTER") is looking for a Enterprise Endpoint Solutions Architect IT team. The Endpoint Solutions Architect is responsible for the overall strategy, vision, and architectural design of endpoint solutions across the organization. Collaborating closely with IT leadership, Information Security, and other groups within and outside IT, the Architect ensures that the endpoint infrastructure aligns with the Agency's strategic goals and security posture. This role will also provide assistance to technical teams, ensuring that the endpoint solutions are scalable, resilient, and meet the diverse needs of various Agency departments.

Your role in action:
  • Defines the architectural vision and strategy for endpoint management systems (Microsoft Intune, MobileIron, etc.)
  • Initiates the design of image deployment and/or provisioning systems for Windows, iOS, and Android devices.
  • Monitors the creation, maintenance, and distribution of application packages for various devices.
  • Provides high-level reporting on device compliance, application deployment, endpoint patch management, and software inventory.
  • Acts as the chief Subject Matter Expert (SME) for endpoint solutions, mentoring and guiding technical teams.
  • Collaborates with IT members to strategize on monitoring and remediation of non-compliant devices.
  • Collaborates with Desktop Support to strategize on endpoint lifecycles for various devices.
  • Partners with Information Security to ensure architectural designs mitigate security vulnerabilities.
  • Partners with Information security to set the direction for endpoint compliance profiles, configurations, and policies to uphold security standards.
  • Stays at the forefront of industry trends and brings innovative solutions to improve endpoint management systems.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


What qualifications you will need:

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Certifications such as MCSE, CISSP, and ITIL are highly desirable.

Experience:
  • 2 years of experience required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products and platforms including Azure, Power Platform, Power BI, and Office 365. Understanding of endpoint imaging systems such as MDT, Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Autopilot, and Apple Configurator. Experience in centralized endpoint management systems like Microsoft Intune and MobileIron. Experience in designing and architecting endpoint solutions for Windows 10, MacOS, iOS, and Android systems in large-scale environments preferred.


Knowledge Skills, & Abilities:
  • Mastery in PowerShell scripting, database architecture, SQL, Power BI, Python scripting, XML, and Networking. Knowledge in Windows imaging & deployment, remote management, automation with various scripting tools and languages, and mobile device management. Familiarity with architectural best practices and frameworks.
