An ideal candidate will have or be nearing a degree in chemical engineering and an interest in process controls and hands-on engineering problem solving. - Provide process engineering support to the Explosives Manufacturing Division
- Develop new and redline existing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams
- Develop new and redline existing Interlock Narratives
- Ensure production schedules are met in accordance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Facilitate and/or support improvement projects, maintenance efforts, and aid in process troubleshooting
- Provide on call Technical support
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for equipment and operational issues
- Develop new and update operating procedures and assist with training efforts
- Ability to multitask and communicate with support organizations
- Interact with Customers and Suppliers
- Lead/Support Process Hazard Analysis for new and existing processes
- Develop and implement quality, safety, and process improvements in accordance with management of change requirements
Required Skills and Education
- 3 or More Years of Chemical Engineering Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Controls, or Similar Discipline
- Must be 21 years of age

- Experience in Process Hazard Analysis
- Experience with Distillation/Evaporation/Recrystallization/Reactor Process Equipment
- Experience Troubleshooting Process Issues
