We design, implement and operate reliable video solutions that capture, process and deliver our clients' video content from any source, in any format, to any destination in the most efficient manner possible.
Job Description
Install, repair and maintain complex digital, high-definition and equipment associated with broadcast operations.
Configuration and troubleshooting of computers, servers and IT infrastructure for various broadcast needs.
Provides feedback to the duty engineering supervisor on the progress and status of internal work assignments as well as open vendor related support issues.
Provides users and customers with professional, courteous, and timely technical support.
Create, and maintain drawings for assigned projects,
Ensure broadcast operations compliance with FCC guidelines and regulations.
Ability to work shifts in support of a 24x7x365 environment.
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Minimum 4 years as a technician in a broadcast television facility
Previous participation in large system integration projects including physical equipment installation, wiring, and configuration.
Experience with digital test equipment such as Waveform Monitors, Loudness Meters, and VANC analyzers.
Ability to read CAD signal flow drawings and create diagrams in Visio.
Familiarity with IT hardware, networks, and Microsoft Windows OS.
Experience with installing RJ45, COAX, DIN, and F type connectors.
Knowledge of broadcast television standards including NTSC, ATSC, and PAL.
Ability to work shifts in support of a 24x7x365 environment.
Working knowledge of one or more of the following broadcast systems. Grass Valley ITX, Snell Morpheus, Imagine ADC and Versio.
Previous system design experience is a plus.
Associates degree in Electronics or Computer Science. Equivalent experience will be considered.
