Job Description
The Engineer, Client Services will combine technical project implementation responsibilities with remote management support of a multi-site client's networks of various sizes and levels of complexity. The ideal candidate is a dedicated, relentless problem solver who applies logic and an instinctive approach to resolving technical issues. At IT Solutions, most of our clients rely on us as their sole technological resource. The Engineer, Client Services will be responsible for a full range of tasks, from project design and deployment responsibilities, server troubleshooting, and user desktop support on a regular basis. The candidate should understand the value of best practices and have the foresight to thoroughly consider all potential outcomes before making impactful changes. The ability to manage the stress of client-down situations is an absolute must, and it is paramount to always provide excellent customer service.

Requirements
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- To troubleshoot and resolve equipment, configuration and affected problems and to track vendor support cases through to problem resolution on production issues.
- Provide superior service to customers and clients with limited supervision consistently.
- To carry out testing of new features, and functionality as required and to help develop plans to implement and verify that they are operating correctly in the live network.
- Provides emergency on-call support on a rotating schedule.
- Maintains excellent communication with Network Operation Center team on all tasks and projects. Responsible for communicating with customers, peers, team and managers regarding incident and change management. Creates and maintains good technical documentation.
- Administration of O365 (Office, Exchange, SharePoint, MS Teams, Azure AD, Intune), Exchange hybrid environments
- Support Office 365 migrations/implementations including Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and MS Teams
- Support Identity Management (ADFS, Azure, Other) and Directory Sync supporting O365 workloads
- Practical knowledge of SMTP routing, Active Directory/LDAP, DNS, Mail Routing, Exchange and SMTP Troubleshooting and Patch Management
- Deploy improvement capabilities including availability, reliability, performance, monitoring, backup, and security
- Multi-site responsibilities in the local area
Experience
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent level of experience in related field
- 2+ years as a Network Engineer or Senior Network Administrator installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network, data center and security technologies.
- 2+ years' experience with troubleshooting infrastructure devices.
- Office 365 support technologies including but not limited to, Active Directory, DirSync, Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access Policies
- Experience in PowerShell and Scripting to support administration and automation of Active Directory and Office 365 Technologies
- Experience in Azure AD Connect
