Job Description
JMA Solutions, a leading government contractor for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), has a full-time opportunity for an ONSITE Intermediate I Scientist/Engineer/Systems Analyst supporting engineering services for the FAA in Oklahoma City, OK. This position is responsible for assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of NAS systems, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and industry standards. This role provides technical support for NAS facility modifications, engineering studies, and operational enhancements at both CONUS and non-CONUS locations.

Job Requirements
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, scientific analysis, or related projects.
SALARY: $83,000 - $90,000 depending on experience and education levels. JMA Solutions offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, dental, life insurance, and a 401(k) match.

Duties include but not limited too:
- Support engineering design, analysis, and integration for FAA NAS systems.
- Assist in system troubleshooting, performance optimization, and testing activities.
- Develop and review engineering documentation, including system specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prototype development for proposed NAS modifications.
- Provide engineering support for maintenance, repairs, and restoration of NAS surveillance and communication systems (e.g., radar, radio, and satellite systems).
- Assist in collecting and analyzing data for system improvements and compliance with FAA regulations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and lifecycle management strategies.
- Support the development of engineering study reports, interface control documents (ICDs), and cost estimates.
- Assist in reviewing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) manuals for accuracy and applicability.
Job Requirements
- Basic knowledge of FAA NAS systems, air traffic operations, and FAA policies.
- Experience with data analysis, system modeling, and performance evaluation.
- Familiarity with FAA communication and surveillance technologies is a plus not required
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Travel may be required to support engineering projects at various FAA locations
