Splunk Administration:
Hands-on:
Salary Range - $85,000-$100,000 a year

- Install, configure, and manage Splunk components including forwarders, indexers, search heads, and deployment servers.
- Monitor Splunk infrastructure performance and health, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Implement best practices for data retention, indexing, and archiving.
- Ensure security and compliance by managing user authentication, access controls, and data encryption.
- Develop and maintain documentation for Splunk configurations, standards, and procedures.
- Create and customize Splunk applications, dashboards, data models, and reports to meet business requirements.
- Develop complex search queries, alerts, and timed reports to support advanced searching, forensics, and analytics.
- Integrate Splunk with various data sources using different protocols and ensure seamless data flow.
- Optimize the performance of Splunk applications and ensure efficient data processing.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of Splunk tools and features.
- Work with network operations, security teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop necessary features.
- Provide ongoing support for Splunk implementations, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Develop custom scripts and automation workflows to streamline Splunk administration tasks.
Hands-on:
- Experience with Splunk Administration and Development.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to design and implement scalable, flexible, and secure Splunk architectures.
- Knowledge of regular expressions and Splunk search language.
- Experience with automation and scripting for Splunk maintenance and alerting tasks.
