Release Train Engineer

Technical:

- Experience: 5+ years in Agile project management, SAFe RTE, or Scrum Master roles

- Frameworks: Deep knowledge of SAFe, Agile, Scrum, Kanban.

- Tools: Proficiency in JIRA, Rally, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools.

- Certifications: SAFe RTE, SAFe SPC, PMP-Agile, or equivalent (preferred)

- Sound Technical background with proficiency in Java, Java Spring Boot, Microservices, JSON, REST Webservices, Databases like MongoDB

- Plan and coordinate Program Increment (PI) planning events

- Ensure teams adhere to Agile principles and SAFe best practices

- Manage dependencies, risks, and impediments across teams

- Support Scrum Masters, Product Managers, and Product Owners

- Facilitate ART Syncs, Scrum of Scrums, and Inspect & Adapt sessions

- Ensure alignment of business goals with ART objectives

- Communicate progress and issues to senior leadership and stakeholders

- Track and analyze KPIs (velocity, predictability, flow efficiency, etc.)

- Remove bottlenecks in development and delivery cycles

- Lead retrospectives to improve ART efficiency

- Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders to prioritize work

- Microsoft Suite of Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio (or other design tools) along with AGILE management tools (Azure DevOps/JIRA)

Non-Technical:

- Experience in BFSI Information technology or equivalent

- Possesses mastery level understanding of standards, business processes, workflows, methodologies, and leading practices

- Must have in-depth knowledge of software development lifecycles, including Agile development and testing

- Demonstrated ability in applying automation for repeatable tasks

- Strong management, communication, technical and remote collaboration skill are a must

- Experience in large cross system, cross team initiatives

Experience Required

- Strong hands-on experience

- Thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with focused attention to details as well as demonstrated professionalism and time/task management skills and ability to establish strong relationships

- Strong problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to apply analysis to actionable ins ights

- Well versed with product design and desire to improve the digital experience for customers

Roles & Responsibilities

- Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum-related meeting

- Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress

- Maintain process documentation

- Ensure the design team is practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility

- Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on Product & Sprint Backlogs

- Interfacing with key stakeholders and business leaders

- Working with cross-functional teams for delivery

- Mentoring Team

Salary Range- $100,000-$125,000 a year
