Job Description:
Biologics Development team at Client is seeking for a talented and experienced candidate to join their team. The candidate will get an opportunity to engage in developing cutting-edge automation technologies at a world-class biologics process analytical development environment.
The successful candidate will develop and implement orchestrations and protocols to automate bioprocess and analytical workflows with the integration of mechanical arm robotics and liquid handlers. The candidate will closely engage with analytical and process development subject matter experts to build automation capabilities. Automation protocol validation, troubleshooting and life cycle management are some of the key responsibilities.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have,
Education: -
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline. Master's or Ph.D. is highly desirable.
Expertise: -
Strong expertise in programming SCARA robots is a must.
Experience with high throughput and automation technologies - Proficiency in operating automatic liquid handling systems for high-throughput sample processing and development (e.g., Tecan) highly desired.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency general purpose programming languages (e.g. Python, Perl, R, C++) is preferred.
A sound knowledge of typical Bioanalytical instruments such as HPLC's, Plate Readers, Spectrometers is an added advantage (But not required).
Prior lab experience preferred, including pipetting and/or hands-on experience in downstream purification unit operations such as chromatography or filtration. (But not required).
