Our Engineering Analysis and Simulation team specializes in virtual testing using finite element analysis, warehouse simulation, multi-body dynamics, and other computer-aided engineering techniques. As we continue to innovate, we are expanding our team to enhance our analytical capabilities in support of future development projects.

About the position:

We are seeking an Engineering Analyst to apply analytical skills in support of engineering development and other technical initiatives. In this role, you will:
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Use CAD tools to modify geometric models for analysis preparation.
  • Perform routine mechanical engineering calculations using standard formulas.
  • Conduct structural finite element analyses, requiring knowledge of:
    • Finite element meshing techniques and element types
    • Material properties and models
    • Loading and boundary conditions
    • Finite element solvers and settings
  • Interpret and document analysis results.
  • Utilize MATLAB or Python scripting for efficient analysis workflows.
  • Verify and validate simulation models and results.
  • Collaborate with other Engineering Analysts to establish best practices.
  • Apply additional simulation techniques based on expertise and experience.

About you:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1+ years of professional engineering experience.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Inquisitive mindset with a strong problem-solving approach.
  • Data-driven with the ability to interpret and apply insights.
  • Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and a willingness to learn new technical areas.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Flexible and adaptable to evolving project needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical material to diverse audiences.

It would be great if you had:
  • Creo software for basic CAD modeling experience.
  • Abaqus/CAE software for finite element analysis experience.
  • Familiarity with multi-body dynamics (Adams simulation software).
  • Working knowledge of multi-domain physical system modeling (Simulink).

About the total compensation package:

Salary - $80,000 - $96,600 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.

Relocation - This position may qualify for relocation.

Bachelor's Degree in an applicable engineering field, computer science, an Engineer in Training (EIT) or a professional license is required. 1-3 years engineering experience is also required. Entry-level for MS Engineering.
