We are responsible for the manufacturing and supply chain data collection and reporting for all of Apple's products around the world. You will build/support systems that every iPhone, iPad and Mac have interacted with. Apple's engineering and operations teams will leverage your platform to build the next great product. Description The BPR Insight team is looking for an exceptional Engineering Manager to lead our App Development team in the Apple Manufacturing space. This role demands a technical, self-starting, ambitious individual who excels in collaboration and innovation while focusing on developing and leading teams that build scalable and robust applications. The successful candidate will have a relentless Servant-Leadership attitude and a strong sense of team culture. YOU WILL: - Lead teams to build the next generation of our Apple Manufacturing Platforms - Collaborate with product management and UX teams to define experiences for our users - Design and implement performant architecture, scalable web components and libraries

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing teams developing scalable web applications.
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including significant front-end and full-stack development expertises.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to act as a credible technical advisor to the team and to help the team make thoughtful, informed decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical partners.
  • Experience partnering with product and program management teams to ensure quality and delivery of features.
  • A track record of hiring and growing diverse, highly talented engineers to increase their impact.
  • Experience with at least one popular JavaScript framework such as Angular, React, Backbone, Ember, Vue, Svelte.
  • Proficiency with one or more object oriented programming language such as Java, C++ etc.
  • Strong understanding of UX and UI design principle.
  • Familiarity with the complete web stack, including protocols and web performance optimization techniques.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in cloud based environment is a plus.
  • Experience in data analytics is a plus.
  • Experience in manufacturing systems is a plus.
  • Understanding of testing strategies, frameworks and methodologies.
