ENGINEERING MANAGER

Job Description:

Position Overview: The Engineering Manager will oversee the engineering department, ensuring the successful execution of projects involving CNC machining. This role requires a strong technical background in CNC operations, leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of CNC machining processes.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D.
• Develop and implement strategies for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CNC machinery and processes.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in CNC technology.
• Prepare and present reports on project status, performance metrics, and improvement plans.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in CNC machining and engineering management.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming, setup, and operation.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and other relevant engineering tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
