POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Engineering Project Manager to partner with our Director of R&D Programs. You will drive new product development initiatives from concept through manufacturing launch in an environment of evolving priorities and accelerated growth. This role demands a proactive change agent who can lead our engineering team through this cultural and strategic transformation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Leadership: Manage multiple engineering projects in a fast-paced, shifting environment.

Documentation & Planning: Develop and maintain project documentation, meeting minutes, resource planning, and task scheduling.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Production, and other teams to ensure smooth transitions from development to production.

Strategic Initiatives: Track project requests, prepare business cases, and drive process improvements to support our move toward innovative, design-focused solutions.

Hands-On Involvement: Roll up your sleeves when necessary to overcome challenges and accelerate project delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years' experience in engineering, R&D, or manufacturing environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Demonstrated expertise in both agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools (MS Project, YouTrack, Jira, Trello).
  • PMP Certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.


Work Environment/ Physical Requirements:

Works in fast paced office environment. Many tasks are repetitive in motion and include the use of office equipment (phone, fax, computer, etc.). Must be able to sit (70%), walk/ stand (30%), reach, bend, crouch, twist; manual dexterity required for data entry & other tasks. Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds. Speaking and hearing required to communicate internally and over the phone. Vision, depth perception & color vision required to perform essential duties. Working hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Must be flexible to work additional hours from time to time if required.

Location: This position is an on-site role in Longmont, CO.

Base Compensation: $120,000-$140,000 is the projected range of annual base salary for this role depending on the candidate's overall qualifications and experience.
