The Impact You Will Make: As a Project Manager - Engineering, you will lead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver critical engineering and validation projects that directly support operational excellence, innovation, and compliance. By effectively managing timelines, resources, risks, and budgets, you'll ensure projects are executed with precision and transparency. Your expertise in Smartsheet and project leadership will foster collaboration, improve project visibility, and drive results that align with organizational goals. Through strategic oversight and communication skills, you will play a vital role in shaping efficient, timely, and cost-effective solutions that move the business forward.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans in Smartsheet, including timelines, resource allocation, task tracking, and budget oversight.
  • Monitor performance to ensure milestones are met and adjust plans to address emerging risks or shifting priorities.

Stakeholder Management
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders and leadership on project status, deliverables, and roadblocks.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams and other departments to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project life cycle.

Risk and Issue Management
  • Identify potential project risks and issues early and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Address and resolve conflicts or project challenges efficiently while supporting a collaborative team environment.

Resource Management
  • Coordinate Engineering and Validation resources across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Ensure resource availability, resolve capacity issues, and support effective team dynamics.

Budget Management
  • Track and monitor projects budgets, ensuring all activities stay within the approved financial limits.
  • Work with financial teams to report on project costs and variances in ERP System (D365)

Smartsheet Expertise
  • Create, update and maintain Smartsheet templates and dashboards for tracking and reporting project progress.
  • Train team members and stakeholders on effective Smartsheet usage, ensuring efficient collaboration and reporting.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering or a related field. PMP, Scrum, or similar project management certification is a plus.
  • 3+ years of project management experience, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.
  • Strong hands-on experience using Smartsheet for project management and collaboration.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders and teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of previous work experience in a related field
  • Working knowledge of cGMP, GAMP5, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience working with nasal spray products and devices or related drug-delivery devices
  • Technical writing experience such as: SOPs, Maintenance PMs, user requirement specs, vendor requests for proposal

Physical Requirements:
  • Specific vison requirements include; close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust and focus in order to read/understand/execute documentation as required by the position
  • Employee are required to follow all cGMP and safety procedures.
  • The employee must wear all required safety equipment and perform assigned work in a safe manner.
  • Employee must use proper lifting techniques and be conscious of hazards around him/her.
  • Must follow all GMP and safety procedures within the department.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
