Engineering Section Manager
Maxxis International USA is looking for a Section Manager for the Tire Design & Development Group at our Technology Center in Suwanee, GA. This exciting opportunity is for an individual who has the knowledge and experience to lead tire design and development projects and fellow engineers. Strong analysis and judgment skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are required. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
Responsibilities:
Participate in and support tire development projects
Mentor the efforts of engineers by providing advice, direction and training
Conduct technical design reviews that are data driven and use analytical tools and problem solving techniques
Provide leadership for the establishment of tire performance standards and tire development process standards
Research respective market and help determine strategy for the business plan
Ensure project milestones are achieved
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, material engineering or a directly related engineering field required
Seven (7) years of tire industry engineering experience required
Experience managing the work of others required
