POSITION: Enterprise Architect

Summary:

The Enterprise Architect will partner with stakeholders to create and maintain the enterprise architectural blueprint for the bank, creating alignment and collaboration between the technology and business strategies. This includes defining architecture patterns and reference implementations as well as oversight to ensure the enterprise architecture is adopted and adhered to.

Key Result Areas:
  • Cloud Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Event-Driven Architecture: Develop and maintain event-driven systems to ensure real-time data processing and responsiveness.
  • APIs: Create and manage robust APIs to facilitate seamless integration between various systems and applications.
  • Caching: Implement caching strategies to optimize performance and reduce latency in data retrieval.
  • FDX (Financial Data Exchange API Standard): Ensure compliance with FDX standards to facilitate secure and efficient financial data exchange.
  • Establishing an Architecture Review Board (ARB): Lead the formation and operation of an ARB to oversee architectural decisions and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Capability Modeling: Develop capability models to map out and enhance organizational capabilities.
  • Data Architecture: Design and manage data architecture to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and security.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years of proven experience as a
    Solution or Enterprise Architect.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Expertise in event-driven architecture and API management.
  • Familiarity with FDX standards and financial data exchange protocols.
  • Experience in establishing and leading an Architecture Review Board.
  • Proficiency in capability modeling and data architecture.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
