Summary
The Enterprise IT Manager is responsible for overseeing PDRI's corporate IT infrastructure. They lead a team to implement and manage hybrid cloud technologies, ensuring seamless integration of public and private infrastructures. They design network environments, troubleshoot issues, and enhance performance while collaborating to innovate cloud networking solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of both technology and business processes to guarantee that PDRI's technological framework is efficient, reliable, and secure.
The Enterprise IT Manager role will be primarily focused on leading a team of network engineering and support professionals to manage and maintain the company's technology assets. The Enterprise IT Manager evaluates and identifies hybrid cloud technologies, both public cloud and private data center, that align with PDRI's network, application, security, and operational requirements. They help guide and direct the team in the implementation and management of these hybrid cloud technologies, ensuring a seamless integration between the public cloud and private data center infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development: Supervise, mentor, and develop PDRI's corporate network engineering and support team.
- Enterprise Infrastructure Management: Manage the setup, configuration, and maintenance of complex cloud and physical network environments. Manage corporate IT hardware assets such as laptops, workstations, printers, cell phones, desk phones, facility physical access systems, etc. Execute and maintain networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system and security standards.
- Strategic Planning: Plan, document, and schedule upgrades and changes to network infrastructure. Develop and implement IT strategies that align with organizational goals, ensuring the scalability and sustainability of IT solutions.
- Migration Planning: Develop and execute plans for migrating legacy on-premises networks and servers to cloud solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain a thorough understanding of network security, IP routing, VPN, and other applicable network technologies.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure hardware, software, and IT services.
- Security Management: Implement and monitor IT security measures to protect the organization's data and systems from cyber threats. Evaluate the security of network designs and make improvements as appropriate.
- Project Management: Oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet specifications.
- Budgeting and Cost Management: Manage the IT budget, optimize expenditures, and ensure cost-effective procurement of technology resources.
- Performance Monitoring: Track the performance of IT systems and operations, implementing improvements where necessary. Maximize network performance through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of network problems and outages.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field
- At least 10 years experience designing, managing, and assessing complex IT infrastructures, networking environment, and assets
- Expert-level experience in network infrastructure including firewalls, load balancing, intrusion detection systems, antivirus programs, SIEM software
- Experience supporting multiple solutions and different types of cloud and on-prem networks
- Experience with cloud-based identity and access management solutions such as Microsoft Entra and Azure AD
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware
- Experience with network management tools such as SolarWinds
- Excellent operational knowledge in Windows-based server management and workstation computing solutions
- Excellent operational knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Amazon Web Services, AWS GCC (GovCloud)
- High degree of competency in Microsoft desktop applications: Teams, Excel, Outlook, Word etc.
- Must be able to work in a team and independently, demonstrate effective verbal and written communication, learn quickly, solve problems and be professional.
- Outstanding interpersonal, management, and oral and written communication skills
- Preferred: Current network certifications such as CompTIA A+ Certification, CompTIA Network+ Certification, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Core Infrastructure, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) - Routing and Switching or Cisco Certified Network Professional Level (CCNP) - Routing and Switching
- Preferred: Experience with CMMC, FedRAMP, and other Federal security requirements
