Job summary

The Enterprise Manager of Room Control is the leader and representative for the development Enterprise which directs and leads the cross functional team, assesses, and reports on the overall performance and resources, technical direction and continuous improvement of the team. They assess the products, projects, schedules, quality, innovation, and delivery.

Duties and responsibilities

In this role, you will:
  • Be accountable for the commercial success of the Enterprise by setting and achieve long-range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth expectations.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of the Enterprise and contribute to Product specifications.
  • Work with the Project Manager to create and maintain project teams.
  • Manage personnel, team dynamics and productivity and information relevant to the day-to-day activities and success of the team.
  • Work with the Product Strategists and Product Managers to generate long-term roadmaps.
  • Support sales with new technologies used in new or existing products or improvements
  • Oversee key projects, processes and performance.
  • Produce reports, data, metrics and communicate the Enterprise's KPIs.
  • With the CTO; review, update and implement strategic plans, and new product development.
  • Accept Business Cases from Product Strategy, and work with the Product Manager and Project Manager to plan accordingly.
  • Be responsible for budgetary planning, budget implementation, team efficiency, financial reporting and submittal for capital expenditures.
  • Understand all aspects of Enterprise including technical, commercial, financial, organizational and procedural.
  • Work with the Director of Product Development on overall Enterprise performance, inter-Enterprise dependencies and process improvements.
  • Drive SR&ED claim annual targets, execution and reporting.

Preferred skills and abilities
  • Experience in the Building Automation Industry.
  • Experience with technical / electronics products in a development or managerial role.

Minimum qualifications and experience
  • Bachelor's degree, MBA (or other Master's preferred) or equivalent education, training, or experience.

Work Location: In Office (Currently 3 days a week, subject to change)
City: Surrey
Type: full-time, Permanent
Salary: $104,000 - $130,000
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
