SUMMARY

The Enterprise Sales Consultant must be motivated and able to work independently. They will be responsible for developing sales, building relationships, negotiating, and contracting with enterprise clients nationwide within industry-specific commercial, wholesale, fleet, and transportation channels. An ideal candidate will have experience selling large volumes of fuel, DEF, and lubricant to customers and meeting their needs as their all-inclusive supplier. The position will measure success in profit and new client business. The core focus of the position is increasing customers, margin, fuel volume, and client satisfaction.

DUTIES
  • Manage the sales pipeline to capture new business regionally and nationally.
  • Target multi-location customers at the corporate level within the industrial and commercial enterprise space.
  • Transition leads and nurture relationships that result in sales.
  • Cold call to generate new contacts and sales.
  • Form and present informal and formal sales presentations.
  • Negotiate contracts, prepare bid qualifications and quotes.
  • Use Sales Force daily.
  • Be available to assist channel client's needs, responding as needed to emergency calls.
  • Monitor closely competitors for improved positioning to capture market share.
  • Travel to develop and nurture relationships as much as 50%.
  • Serves as primary customer account manager for end-to-end responsibility for contract and customer needs.
  • Oversee on-boarding to ensure a smooth transition to logistical operations.
  • Create routine updates and summaries for senior leadership.
  • Educate and communicate with team members on industry trends across various departments for improved efficiencies, cost-savings and profitability opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

  • A high degree of adaptability and the ability to work under tight deadlines with good organizational skills.
  • Experienced proposal writing ability.
  • Track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Ability to travel as required at least 35% of the time.


KEY CANDIDATE SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of B2B commercial and industrial fuel sales experience.
  • Skilled at using, pricing, and contracting over indexes such as OPIS.
  • Proficient in securing contract pricing with various national suppliers.
  • Experience in structuring fixed price contracts for national clients.
