Job Overview Summary

The Enterprise Solutions Engineer plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supporting integrated security solutions for enterprise clients. This position combines technical expertise with customer engagement, serving as a key liaison between the sales team, clients, and the engineering department.

What you'll be doing (and doing well!):

Solution Design:

• Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and create tailored security solutions.
• Design enterprise-level systems, including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, and fire safety systems.
• Develop detailed technical proposals, diagrams, and documentation.

Client Engagement:

• Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations for prospective clients.
• Serve as the technical point of contact during the pre-sales and implementation phases.
• Address client inquiries and provide expert recommendations.

Implementation Support:

• Work closely with project managers and installation teams to ensure smooth deployment of solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and post-implementation.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on the latest security technologies and trends.
• Provide feedback to product development teams for enhancements based on client needs.
• Train internal staff and clients on system functionalities.

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

What we Like about you:

• A Sense of humor, creativity, and positive attitude.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• Experience in the security industry, with a focus on enterprise solutions.
• Proven expertise in designing and deploying integrated security systems.
• Experience with brands like Genetec, Axis, Honeywell, etc. is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in system design tools and software.
• Strong knowledge of network configurations, IP-based systems, and cybersecurity principles.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., UL, NFPA, ITAR).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
• Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM)
• Physical Security Professional (PSP)
• Vendor-specific certifications (e.g., Genetec Certified Professional, Lenel Certified Expert)
