HTI has an immediate opening for an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety Manager with a manufacturing facility just south of Little Rock, Arkansas. This is a full-time, onsite, direct hire, salaried position. Relocation assistance is available, and the company offers comprehensive benefits. Salary range is $75,000 - $95,000 / year, depending on experience and education.

Requirements:
- Must have 4-year degree - Environmental, Health & Safety, or a closely related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of EHS experience in the manufacturing industry
- Must have OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification
- Lock out/tag out and confined spaces experience
- Knowledge of federal and state environmental and safety laws/regulations, as well as record keeping and reporting requirements
- Strong computer skills (MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Experience in Title 5 Air Permit
- Certified to conduct daily EPA Method 9 Visual Emission reports preferred
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems
Summary:
Responsible for ensuring that all environmental and safety programs, procedures, training, work practices and controls are effectively implemented to ensure compliance with governmental safety regulations and industry standards.
- Perform inspections of the plant to identify and correct any potential safety hazards, unsafe working conditions, or unsafe practices.
- Implement and monitor corrective actions to remedy any identified deficiencies.
- Conduct internal safety and environmental audits.
- Schedule and lead safety/environmental training for new and current employees.
- Maintain the safety log each week.
- Maintain the OSHA 300 log in a current and accurate format.
- Maintain files and records ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations. This includes keeping all required licenses/permits updated, scheduling employee training, and ensuring that required reports are completed in a timely manner.
- Assist with or lead the implementation of environmental policies and practices.
- Maintain all required policies, procedures and protocols to ensure continued compliance with all state/federal/OSHA standards.
- Coordinate all aspects of waste management, environmental health, risk assessment and employee involvement.
- Lead the Safety Committee and report to management on a weekly basis to keep everyone informed of safety program status and recommend changes for improvement.
- Review New Safety Data Sheets, maintain database and binders, inspect for unauthorized chemicals.
- Lead in the response to all ADEQ and OSHA inquiries or violations.
- Participate in all inspections.
- Lead in investigation of accidents and near misses.
- Complete accident reports and send to all appropriate parties, coordinate correct actions.
- Manage the Emergency Response and Evacuation activities, including training.
- Provide data for weekly and monthly reports, CEO Reports and Quarterly Review Reporting.
