Environmental Safety Specialist - TS/SCI with Polygraph Required with Security Clearance

Overview LMI is seeking applicants for an environmental safety engineer position in the Northern Virginia/Washington, DC region. This position will be providing direct client support within various client locations in the region. Responsibilities * Serve as a subject matter expert on environmental compliance issues affecting Government facilities * Draft policy statements, standard operating procedures, fact sheets, newsletter articles and other communications regarding current and future environmental regulations affecting the Government * Develop and/or review applicable environmental compliance and management plans * Review National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation and provide Facilities' project managers advice on NEPA applicability * Provide technical environmental regulatory assistance and guidance to facilitate environmental compliance with local, state and federal regulations * Conduct environmental compliance inspections/audits/evaluations as directed by the Government to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and Presidential Executive Orders * Update and monitor environmental regulatory permits held by the Government * Develop and conduct environmental compliance training for Government employees and contractors Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering * Two (2) years of related experience *This position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance* EEO Statement LMI is an Equal Opportunity Employer-all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
