Description
The EPC Contract Manager will assist in projects that include, but will not be limited to, driving and managing key strategic initiatives for the Special Projects & Legal Operations Director.
What you'll do:
In support of high-value and critical EPCA transactions and reporting to and assigned by the Special Projects & Legal Operations Director.
1. Assisting the legal team with:
2. Track all EPC-adjacent aspects of transactions, including interface with third parties with respect to construction and engineering diligence.
3. Provide technical support in the scheduling and diligence and closing checklist calls for internal and external stakeholders.
4. Interface with, and provide support to, construction and engineering in the development of progress reports, change orders, and other project tracking documentation.
5. Draft EPCA legal deliverables such as lien waivers, etc. as well as ensure they are properly vetted/executed.
6. Manage, develop and oversee the work of a EPC Contracts Administrator
7. Maintain a culture of continuous improvement and problem solving.
8. Able to work and execute on cross-functional duties as well as thrive in a fast paced and dynamic work environment

What you'll do:
In support of high-value and critical EPCA transactions and reporting to and assigned by the Special Projects & Legal Operations Director.
1. Assisting the legal team with:
- The coordinating/execution of applicable project financings and sales with respect to engineering, project management, and construction matters.
- Advancement of project specific engineering and construction documentation, including warranty assignments, and other miscellaneous cross-functional construction materials related to legal.
- Tracking of all engineering and construction related post-closing covenants and obligations of NES and ensure compliance with project agreements.
- Management of EPC contracts and related data room duties including management of access permissions.
- Tracking EPC payment milestones and enforcing timelines to ensure contractual compliance and business objectives.
- Coordination with outside counsel as needed for EPC contractual matters as well as ITC eligibility and prevailing wage matters.
- Coordinate generally with the construction, engineering and project development departments with respect to EPC contract deliverables and compliance.

What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
- Four years minimum of experience in a related field.
- Proficiency with reading blueprints, plans, specs, contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficiency with Procore or other construction management software.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Experience working on solar construction.
- Experience with legal diligence and data room organization.
