Description:

We are seeking a skilled Epic Report Writer to join our healthcare IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards within the Epic system to support clinical and operational needs. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare data, proficiency with Epic reporting tools, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely information.

Key Responsibilities:
Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Epic's reporting tools (e.g., Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, Crystal Reports).
Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with clinical and operational staff to understand their reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for reports, including data sources, logic, and usage instructions.
Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of reports to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Support and Training: Provide support and training to end-users on how to use reports and dashboards effectively.
Compliance: Ensure all reports comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience with Epic reporting tools.
Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
Familiarity with SQL, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools.
Certifications: Epic certification in Reporting Workbench, Clarity, or Cogito preferred.

Technical Proficiency: Strong technical skills in Epic reporting tools and SQL.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
