Help Duties * You will be responsible for leading the processing of informal and formal complaints in accordance with applicable regulations, the Department of the Navy (DON) policy manuals, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) guidance. * You will conduct studies, organizational reviews, and complaint trends to enhance the agency's EEO program. * You will review and interpret laws, orders, regulations, policies, and procedures affecting EEO, revising or drafting guidance as necessary. * You will review case files for accuracy, appropriateness, and completeness, and monitor case progress by tracking and reporting on timeliness and accuracy through detailed data reports. * You will evaluate and provide recommendations to meet EEOC training objectives, conduct relevant training sessions, and propose program revisions based on observed outcomes and the agency's needs. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11/12) or pay band (NO-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Formulating program policies and procedures utilizing demonstrated knowledge of a variety of management theories, principles, and practices; 2) Integrating EEO program requirements within overall management goals utilizing demonstrated knowledge of federal personnel management and administration regarding recruitment and outreach; 3) Identifying, analyzing, and documenting EEO problems within an organization to develop effective solutions; and 4) Advising supervisors and employees, at headquarters level and subordinate activities, on long-term and short-term objectives of an EEO program.
