Job Title: Enterprise Resource Planning Manager
Department(s): 5072 - Information Technology
Location(s): Garden City Terminal

JOB OVERVIEW:
Under the supervision of the Director of IT - Application Development, the ERP Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of the GPA's ERP system. This role ensures that the ERP system supports business operations efficiently and effectively, aligning with organizational goals. The ERP Manager collaborates with various departments to understand their needs, streamline processes, and enhance productivity through the ERP system.
Upholds the values of the GPA to promote Safety, Integrity, Respect, Community, Creativity and Opportunity. Promotes a safe work environment by participating in safety initiatives and reporting unsafe conditions and behaviors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful ERP implementations.Proficiency in ERP system configuration, customization, and integration.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience
A minimum of five years of experience in ERP system management, implementation, and support. Experience with specific ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar Required Experience in accounting, payroll, finance, data collections, marketing, inventory management, logistics, and port operations Preferred
Education
Required Bachelor's Degree in business or computer science or equivalent.
Licenses & Certifications
TWIC - Transportation Worker Identification Credential Required Upon Hire Driver's License - Valid state driver's license Required Upon Hire

JOB DUTIES:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the ERP system, ensuring its availability, reliability, and performance.
- Manage system upgrades, enhancements, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the ERP system.
- Lead ERP implementation projects, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and oversee system configuration.
- Identify and manage risks and issues and develop mitigation plans.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Analyze current business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and automation.
- Develop and implement best practices for ERP usage and optimization.
- Provide training and support to users to enhance their proficiency and productivity with the ERP system.
- Provide technical support to users, addressing issues and resolving system-related problems.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Manage ERP-related projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and consultants for successful integration and customization.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and documentation.
