Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and engage potential distribution clients from mid-sized enterprises to large corporations, creating lucrative sales opportunities.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle-from lead generation and qualification to engaging product demonstrations, expert negotiation, and closing the deal.
  • Solution Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations, emphasizing the unique features, benefits, and value of our Epicor distribution ERP software.
  • Needs Analysis: Work closely with clients to fully understand their specific distribution requirements and pain points, providing tailor-made solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and nurture robust relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in client organizations.
  • Proposal Development: Write comprehensive proposals addressing client needs, including pricing, implementation timelines, and ROI analysis.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' offerings, leveraging this knowledge to position our Epicor ERP solutions strategically.
  • Collaboration: Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience and successful implementations.
  • Sales Forecasting: Accurately forecast the sales pipeline, provide regular updates on opportunities, and actively participate in sales meetings.
  • Client Success: Prioritize customer satisfaction by overseeing project progress, proactively addressing concerns, and swiftly resolving issues.

Experience and Skills Required
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in enterprise software sales, particularly in ERP solutions. Experience in the distribution sector or with Epicor Prophet 21 is highly desirable.
  • Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of distribution processes, supply chain management, and production operations, along with industry-specific challenges.
  • ERP Expertise: Proficiency in Epicor Distribution ERP software or similar ERP solutions for the distribution industry.
  • Sales Skills: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, with exceptional negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Relationship Building: Strong ability to build and sustain relationships with clients, comprehending their business needs and positioning solutions accordingly.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate complex concepts to clients.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to offer impactful ERP solutions.
  • Team Player: Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, working across departments to achieve sales goals.
