Description:
The Analyst role involves analyzing and evaluating business requirements, consulting with personnel from various departments, and identifying areas for the development of technical solutions to automate and/or improve business processes. The Analyst will provide recommendations on new or enhanced systems, software, upgrades, and modifications. This is a fully seasoned professional level capable of independently carrying out most assignments typical of the profession.
Supervision Received:
Works under very general supervision. Depending on the organization structure, may work independently with responsibility for an assigned function or program.

- Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.
- Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost-effective and meet user requirements.
- Configures system settings and options.
- Plans and executes business unit, integration, and acceptance testing.
- Creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
- Designs details of automated systems.
- May provide consultation to users regarding automated systems.

- Extensive knowledge of concepts, processes, and tools of the profession.
- Strong knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Principles and practices of effective team collaboration and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of the relationship of professional disciplines among related organizations and functions.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution for the required degree on an exception basis).
- 5 years of specific ERP work experience, preferably with Oracle Time & Labor (OTL) and TCP Timeclocks.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Master's degree in computer science (equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution for the master's degree on an exception basis) with 5 - 8 years directly related professional experience.
