ERP System Project Manager

J&J Truck Bodies & Trailers is seeking an ERP Systems Lead who will empower end users through training, education, and ongoing support. They will communicate directly with the end users, acting as liaisons between them and IT, focusing on the efficient flow of business operations. Oversee the ongoing management of best practices, effective solution delivery, and system enhancements. Keep up to date on ERP product releases best suited to our company's growth and efficiencies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities. Other job-related duties may be assigned in conformance with state and federal regulations:

• Ensures end-user knowledge surpasses the required level of expertise to best perform their job duties within the company's ERP system.
• Works intimately with IT resources in designing, developing, building, testing, and delivering the ERP solution for Somerset Welding and Steel business processes, including the JJTE Shop and Parts environments and satellite manufacturing locations (Cumberland, MD).
• Works directly and indirectly with the ERP consultants and customer-facing support resources for problem resolutions, in a "super user" capacity.
• Teams with all Riggs IT resources for day-to-day IT functional support, especially related to workstation OS, ERP application client, hardware, and network.
• Manages the day-to-day implementation of this system.
• Understands report generation and development to deliver solutions directly from the ERP system, in conjunction with current Riggs IT expertise.
• Develops training documentation and organizes training sessions for current and newly onboarded end users.
• Can work directly with individual users, when required, for immediate knowledge transfer
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Adheres to all IT confidentiality and security protocols.

Education / Experience:

• Minimum 2-year degree in IT or related field. 4-year degree preferred.
• The ideal candidate should have ERP operational support experience in a manufacturing environment.
