What You'll Get to Do
The Estimator I is focused on providing detailed estimates to our customers in a timely manner. Regularly work from architectural drawings and specifications, shop drawings or elevation take-offs and reports to the Regional Estimating Manager.
This role is perfect for an individual who is organized, a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, and prioritize workload. A vital member of the Estimating Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
This role will be based onsite in Fremont, CA.

What You'll Get to Do

Job responsibilities include:
- Create stock length cost proposals for customers based on elevation take-offs, using our price book and computer software
- Write orders, purchase requisitions, metal requests, credits and MRA's
- Provide pricing of change orders and backorders to insure accurate invoicing
- Provide detailed estimates to our customers in a timely manner. Work from architectural drawings and specifications, shop drawings or elevation take-offs
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years prior experience in estimating
- Ability to read, interpret, & understand architectural drawings and specifications and provide detailed take offs and estimates that incorporate different building envelope solutions
- Experience using computer software estimating programs to prepare estimates
Salary: $76,300 - $95,400 - $114,400
