In this hybrid role, you'll be responsible for developing accurate cost estimates, building strong subcontractor relationships, and managing project timelines from bid to completion. We're looking for a candidate with a solid foundation in metal framing, drywall, ACT grid, and tile, and who is passionate about ensuring quality and budget alignment throughout the construction process.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Develop accurate cost estimates for commercial drywall, framing, and ceiling systems.
- Work closely with GCs, architects, and subcontractors to gather project scope and details.
- Manage pre-construction bid schedules, takeoffs, and proposal delivery.
- Oversee and support project execution from bid award to closeout.
- Monitor project budgets and implement cost control strategies.
- Participate in job walks, pre-bid meetings, and vendor negotiations.
- Help identify and onboard local subcontractors and suppliers.
- Mentor junior team members and help streamline estimating processes.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in estimating and/or project management within the commercial construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of metal framing, drywall, acoustical tile, and finish scopes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple bids and projects with a high level of accuracy and organization.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Software experience in OST, & QuickBid is a must.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to work under deadlines.
- No specific licenses required.
