Job Description
Job Title: Surgical Technician

Job Specialty: First Assist

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day - 4x10 - 7 AM - 5 PM

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours

Experience: Must have 18 months of experience in the specialty within the past 3 years

License: Must have GA or compact license in hand

Certifications: None specified

Must-Have: Must not be a local traveler within a 50-mile radius

Job Description:
- Provide assistance with surgical procedures as a First Assist in the operating room.
- Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Maintain sterile fields and adhere to all safety protocols during surgeries.
- Assist in preparing the operating room and patients for surgery.
- Support the surgeon and surgical team during complex procedures.
- Ensure that all surgical instruments and equipment are functioning properly.
- No on-call duties required for First Assist Technicians.
- Participate in required training and orientation sessions as needed.
