Starting Salary Range: $72,000 - $93,000 - depending on experienceLocation: Lynnwood, WAClassification: ExemptMust be eligible to work in the U.S.General Position Summary: Reporting directly to the President, the Executive Assistant offers executive support in a one-on-one working dynamic. Acting as the main contact for internal and external stakeholders concerning all issues related to the Office of the President, this role also consults with the board of directors and senior management teams. The Executive Assistant organizes and coordinates executive outreach, manages external relations efforts, and oversees special projects.Essential Job Functions:1. Oversee the President's calendar, prioritize inquiries and requests, resolve conflicts, and make recommendations to ensure smooth daily operations.2. Perform a wide range of administrative duties to support the President's leadership, including assisting with special projects, creating complex documents, reports, and presentations, preparing information for meetings, composing correspondence, managing contact lists, and arranging travel.3. Function as the main point of contact for internal and external parties regarding all matters related to the President, including highly confidential or critical issues. Conduct research and prioritize actions, referrals, or responses, reflecting the President's style and organizational policy. Communicate directly on behalf of the President.4. Serve as a liaison and support the Board of Directors. Manage coordination for Board meetings and events, including scheduling, drafting agendas, compiling, and distributing materials.5. Collaborate closely with the President to keep them informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities and follow up, as necessary.6. Coordinate all Board meetings, QBR's and retreats and assist with other meetings and events as required.7. Function as a "gatekeeper" and "gateway," facilitating smooth communication between the President and the team, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with the organization.8. Collaborate with the Board of Directors to coordinate the President's outreach activities. Follow up on contacts made by the President to nurture ongoing relationships.9. 9. Maintain discretion and confidentiality in interactions with the President and Board members.10. Book travel arrangements and accommodations for all employees.11. Collaborate on developing and implementing organizational engagement plans, focusing on employee recognition, DEI, and fostering workplace belonging.Skills Required to Perform the Essential Duties of the Job: Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail. Strong people skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners, and donors. Expert level written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated initiative-taking approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability. Emotional maturity. Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently. Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response . Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment . Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions. Supervisory Responsibility:

Paid Time Off:

Eligible employees begin accruing PTO as of their date of hire and accrual rates are based on years of service. Base annual accrual starts at 120 hours/15 days for full time status. PTO is a combination of sick and vacation accruals. UMC follows the required WA State Sick Leave guidelines and employees are provided (1) for every 40 hours worked as part of the PTO package. UMC also offers (7) paid holidays, plus (1) Floating Holiday to be used within the calendar year.
