We are seeking a talented individual to support the US & Canada Analytics Solutions Leader, US Advisory Property Consulting Leader, and Strategic Risk Consulting Practice Leader. This role will be based in Chicago, IL. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Executive Assistant (EA) provides administrative support for core leaders and ensures that work runs smoothly. Key responsibilities include keeping them organized and providing day-to-day support in the form of travel arrangements, calendar management, expense tracking, event planning, document preparation, and correspondence. The EA will be a proactive problem-solver with exceptional organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. As an EA, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of your leaders, enabling them to focus on strategic initiatives that drive our business forward.

We will count on you to:
  • Own the calendar - expertly manage a demanding, ever-changing schedule with foresight and efficiency. Anticipate conflicts, protect focus time, and ensure the executive is always prepared.
  • Triage communication - monitor and prioritize a high volume of emails and messages, identifying critical items and managing timely follow-ups.
  • Coordinate meetings - schedule, plan, and confirm meetings with internal teams and external partners, often across time zones. Draft and circulate agendas in advance and capture key notes or action items when needed.
  • Plan seamless travel - manage complex travel arrangements, create detailed itineraries, and handle changes as they arise. Process expenses accurately and on time.
  • Communicate with clarity and polish - represent the executive in written and verbal communications across the organization and with outside stakeholders. Professionalism and discretion are essential.
  • Liaise with other departments including HR, Finance, Legal, IT, C&W, Facilities and collaborate with other onshore and offshore AA/EA to ensure fluid and flawless execution of duties that require teaming with others
  • Provide support as needed for industry specific events or client events as needed, including partnering with other internal colleagues and external clients
  • Problem-solve daily - protect executive time, navigate shifting priorities, and help streamline operations wherever possible. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency, i.e., using AI to find efficiencies


What you need to have:
  • 5+ years of executive assistant experience supporting multiple leaders
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with a willingness to learn new software tools
  • High level of integrity and sense of urgency, independent, and committed with a high level of initiative
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, track record of consistently meeting deadlines, team player, able to work well with multiple stakeholders, and build rapport in a fast-paced environment

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $52,000 to $110,700.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
