Your main challenges:
- Help the Bank's compensation practices to evolve
- Understand business issues, identify stakeholders' needs, and suggest strategies that fit with the Bank's cultural shift and transformation
- Guide the execution of various projects and mandates, act as an advisor for the various working committees, and provide alignment to guide strategic compensation decisions
- Intervene strategically with various partners and support the implementation of activities (including the writing of presentations for the Board of Directors) by providing high-level expertise
- Contribute actively to the professional development of your peers
- Offer value-added advisory services and support in a cross-sector and matrix context that is constantly evolving
- Develop and establish competitive and innovative compensation solutions, strategies, and guidelines that require buy-in from multiple stakeholders and meet business needs
- Act as an expert by influencing and balancing the interests of multiple stakeholders
- Represent the Bank and participate in information forums with external third parties to keep up with best compensation practices and help our practices and approaches to evolve
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and ten years of relevant experience OR master's degree in a related field and six years of relevant experience
- Experience in executive compensation, particularly in developing executive compensation policies and programs
- Able to navigate in situations that are ambiguous and that provide service to sectors in matrix mode
- Recognized for your agility, proactivity, and curiosity in solving problems, managing stakeholders, and providing advisory service
- Ability to be a positive leader within a team
- Excellent command of Excel and and the Office suite
- Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French)
