What we're looking for:
Considerable leadership experience in similar roles focusing on HR Operations, Payroll, HR Systems and Reward.
Experienced in using and embedding technology to improve the operational effectiveness of the HR function by driving advancements within HR Operations, Reward, Payroll and HR Tech & Analytics
Understand and apply effective change-management principles and associated communication strategies to drive structural change
Experience working for a global company
Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
High level of persistence and strong results focus.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resources, or related field required.
Able to travel to CLS offices as required twice a week.

What you will be doing:
This position will lead on unifying and optimizing compensation, benefits, HR systems, HR Analytics, HR Risk & Governance, HR shared services, and Payroll. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the HR Operations, Payroll and Reward teams, fostering a collaborative and high performing culture.
- Drive the HR Operations Roadmap and team to ensure best in class service delivery
- Develop and manage HR technology strategy and implement process improvements to elevate employee experience
- Drive HR Analytics to build CLS's capability in driving data-based decisions
- Ensure the organization is compliant and proactively working to reduce any HR risk
- Lead the Total Rewards & HR Operations team, fostering a collaborative and high performing culture.
- Advance CLS's rewards philosophy ensuring compensation and benefit programs align to business goals and operate effectively and efficiently
HR Systems & Analytics and HR Operations:
- Ensure CLS's HR tech stack is fit for purpose and acts as enabler and amplifier to efficient HR operations.
- Act as the project lead, with subject matter expertise from the team, on new system and tool implementation and management. Ensuring that CLS designs and architects end-to-end solutions, integrating the Global HRIS with various downstream applications.
- Ensure HR systems workflows and HR operational processes are documented and communicated and key stakeholders are educated and trained
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to HRIS systems, incorporating relevant advancements to optimize system performance and functionality.
- Develop key metrics and provide systematic reporting to support HR Business partners, including: headcount management, HR analytics, EEO tracking, budget management, diversity metrics, organizational and workforce planning.
- Develop comprehensive communications plans to educate employees on employee value proposition, self-service tools, and HR policies and processes.
- Track and ensure that HR Operations stays current on existing and proposed legislation/market updates.
- Design and implement HR operational frameworks that support business objectives and enhance employee experience.
Global Compensation, Benefits & Payroll:
- Coordinate implementation and provide guidance to the HR team on pay decisions, policy, and job evaluation, including the development of new and innovative reward tools and programs to drive business results.
- Lead the global benchmarking, data analysis, program development, and operational and administrative processes for broad-based compensation, medical, dental, disability, and other health and welfare benefits offerings.
- Provide global compensation and benefits analysis in all markets to attract, engage and retain the best talent in the industry. Including the participation in salary surveys.
- Analyze the effectiveness of existing Reward policies, guidelines, and procedures, and recommend new cost-effective plans that are consistent with market trends and CLS's business objectives.
- Align the Total Rewards structure and offerings with organizational structure and goals.
- Monitor federal, state, and local laws and regulations in all countries in order to ensure company compliance.
- Lead the annual year-end compensation process and manage and maintain benefit programs such as retirement plans, leave policies, wellness programs, and insurance policies. As well as managing the annual open enrollment process and develop and implement enrollment campaigns and initiatives.
- Designs, evaluates, develops, recommends, and implements short-term and long-term payroll policies, processes, and system enhancements designed to improve business processes for accuracy and efficiencies.
- Proactively manage vendor relationships and prepare, participate and engage in audits
- Identify and mitigate potential payroll-related risks and implement controls to prevent errors, fraud, or compliance violations.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of payroll data, adhering to data privacy regulations and safeguarding sensitive employee information.
HR Risk & Governance:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate HR-related risks across the organization.
- Create and maintain policies, procedures, and controls to ensure HR practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Regularly audit HR processes, practices, and systems to ensure adherence to policies and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide insightful risk reporting and analysis to senior management, highlighting trends, potential issues, and recommendations for mitigation.
- Develop and deliver, in conjunction with the HR team, training programs to educate employees and managers on HR risks, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Partner with the HRIS team and IT to establish data protection protocols, ensuring HR data privacy and security measures are implemented and maintained.
