In this pivotal position, you will manage various finance and operational issues and projects, while ensuring financial compliance.

Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister, the successful candidate will:
- Lead the ministry's annual budget process and the development of business cases or documentation to support the budget request;
- Provide financial management oversight - provide direction, financial reporting and analysis to ministry senior leadership including liaising with the Ministry of Finance and the provincial auditor;
- Ensure the development of the ministry's core plans and lead enterprise risk management activities;
- Lead planning and oversight of information management and information technology initiatives;
- Lead the corporate support functions (administrative support, accommodations, procurement, and employee development programs) for the ministry; and
- Participate as an active member of the ministry's senior leadership committees.
