Target Starting Salary Range: $115,000 to $123,000
The final offer for the successful candidate is targeted to fall within this range, but will be based upon an assessment of internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications in relation to the minimum and/or preferred job requirement(s).

Job Description:
SUMMARY:
Provides strategic leadership for college-wide fundraising as partof a fast-paced, team-centered, results-oriented resource developmentdepartment and College Foundation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides leadership for major fundraising initiatives, including research of external funding opportunities, cultivation, solicitation, and proposal development - including project design, communications, and project monitoring for compliance and reporting
- Develops communication materials regarding fundraising and College initiatives
- Provides educational support and outreach sessions to the College's internal community regarding funding opportunities and guidelines
- Develops and implements fundraising plans and strategies to achieve established goals, primarily focused on government funding partners at the local, state, and federal levels
- Supervises, mentors, and trains assigned staff, including grant writers and consultants
- Works to ensure fundraising is aligned with college needs and priorities, and serves as a liaison between the College and external funding sources
- Leads collaboration efforts with faculty, staff, and administrators to identify and secure sources of funding and to develop proposals and project budgets for submission to appropriate funding sources
- Designs and coordinates complex six and seven-figure proposal initiatives
- Coordinates internal and external funding collaborations. External partners include other community colleges, four-year institutions, nonprofits, and industry stakeholders
- Facilitates and ensures compliance of terms and conditions relative to funding secured through the Office of Resource Development and the Foundation including local, state, and federal compliance
- Works in partnership with Grants Management and Grants Accounting staff, and collegewide project directors on compliance and reporting
- Develops and delivers collegewide programs to educate the college community on funding opportunities and strategies for obtaining grants and gifts and to promote faculty and staff participation in grant seeking
- Provides leadership for college grant writing initiatives relative to funding opportunities including oversight of grant writing teams for the writing, editing, compiling and submitting of the final proposals for such initiatives
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Significant industry experience may substitute for education
- Minimum of eight years of experience in managing the securing of additional funding from external and/or internal sources via proposals and grants
- Extensive experience with proposal writing, project design, creating and monitoring budgets
