EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, INVESTMENT BANKING sought by Moelis & Company Group LP in New York, NY.
JOB DUTIES: Direct and oversee a wide variety of quantitative analyses, including leverage buyout models, discounted cash flow, multiple valuation analysis, merger and acquisition accretion/dilution analysis and credit analysis for client and investor presentations. Develop investment scenarios and corresponding presentation/prospectus material, coordinated marketing for public private securities offerings, valuation analysis, business plans, and financial projections. Leverage the firm's capital markets, proprietary research and analytical capabilities to provide top-notch investment, risk advisory, merger & acquisition and capital markets services. Monitor relevant transactions, capital market trends, company financial statements, industry, regulatory, economic information, and other important assessments in the financial sector. Work directly with Managing Directors in all facets of the business, including marketing, transaction evaluation and transaction processing. Oversee and supervise Analyst, Associate and Vice President level staff within the Industrials sector.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field (will accept a three-year or four-year Bachelor's degree), plus seven (7) years of financial management or related financial analysis experience.
Experience must include three (3) years of analysis experience within the investment banking industry; executing M&A; public company M&A; capital markets; performing financial research; performing financial research; debt and equity offerings; debt and equity transactions; monitoring relevant transactions and market conditions; creating client-specific financial models; maintaining client relationships; and managing or supervising lower-level staff or team members within the investment banking industry.
*Specific skills: Also requires experience or knowledge in the following: 1) Experience in domestic and crossborder M&A and structuring transactions; 2) Knowledge of corporate finance and accounting; 3) Experience using Capital IQ, Bloomberg Terminal, FactSet and Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word; and 4) Experience creating client presentations, pitch presentations and marketing materials
*Any level of experience or knowledge in the specific skills is acceptable.
Must have Series 7, 79 and 63 licenses.
The salary for this position in New York City is expected to be $275,000 per year. Base pay is based on market location & may vary based on experience, skills, education & other job-related reasons.
