Provide overall instructional leadership for development and establishment of high academic standards to ensure attainment of District's vision. Improve the quality of education of AISD students by providing support to campus administrators in the development, implementation, and assessment of instructional programs, projects, and initiatives. Assist the Assistant Superintendent of Academics with the development, implementation and assessment of District instructional programs.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Master's degree in educational administration
Texas Mid-Management/Principal/Superintendent Certification
Certified appraiser in T-TESS
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness
Ability to manage budget and personnel
Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Five (5) years administrative experience at the campus and/or district level
Familiarity and knowledge of district instructional programs and services
Salary: AP PG 10/ 225 Days
