This position will direct and manage the district's special programs department. This position will plan, coordinate, and supervise the district's special education, ESL, dyslexia, Blended Preschool, Section 504, and Federal Programs to include Title I, II, III, and IV to ensure sound and continuing educational programs for children.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- Master's degree
- Valid Texas Teaching Certificate
- Administrator certification, preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of federal and state special education law
- Understanding of the individual needs of special needs students
- Ability to communicate with all levels of special needs students and their parents
- Ability to implement policy and procedures
- Ability to interpret data
- Ability to manage budget and personnel
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years successful teaching experience
- Administrative or District Level Leadership experience, preferred
SALARY FROM:
