Executive Director, Revenue
Most senior leader accountable for revenue cycle management (patient accounting, coding, provider enrollment), managed care contracting and revenue analytics.
Job-Specific Responsibilities
- Revenue Cycle Operations: coding, patient accounting, patient estimates
- Managed Care Contracting: contract negotiations, contract modeling
- Provider Enrollment/Credentialling
- Revenue analytics: reimbursement analysis, contract analysis, price transparency
- Value Based Care: bundled payment analysis, new initiatives
Overall work includes:
- Creates strategies and objectives for each area of accountability building out scalable teams and processes to drive and support organizational growth
- Identifies areas of improvement and implementation of solutions to enhance revenue capture and minimize revenue leakage
- Identifies and implements enhancements ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of all processes focusing on best practices and automation
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, resolve issues and maximize revenue opportunities
- Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices in revenue cycle management and ensures compliance with all internal policies as well as external regulations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience/Education/Certifications:
> 5+ years of experience in management of revenue cycle functions within a healthcare organization
> Finance / Accounting degree required
> EPIC experience preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
> Able to communicate at all levels of the organization, distilling complex information into messages designed for specific audiences
> Highly developed analytical skills and highly developed ability to lead others in analytical roles
> Experience with revenue analytics, reimbursement analysis, complex financial analysis and knowledge of value-based care models
Location:
This position allows flexibility to work both in office and remotely. The incumbent will be expected to be available for periodic travel to OrthoVirginia locations or for business travel to other locations.
