JOB SUMMARY:

The Executive Director sets goals, provides oversight, and directs the effective and efficient delivery of services to benefit the individuals served. Additionally, the Executive Director will aide in developing and implementing policies and procedures to drive a culture of compassionate care and service delivery excellence. Lastly, in collaboration with the Synova Group board, participates in strategic planning and management of the agency.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversees the Residential Directors and service delivery department.
  • Participate in the executive meetings to establish and report on initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and compliance of the organization.
  • Collaborate with Facilities Operations Director to develop timelines for renovations, fire marshal, licensing, and other purchases for new sites.
  • Complete fire marshal, licensing documents, and provider enrollment documents for new sites.
  • Oversee staffing pattern development, collaborating with Residential Director and Human Resources.
  • Drafts closure communication to teams & DHS.
  • File appropriate compliance reports with regulatory agencies.
  • Provide oversight and guidance of licensing requirements.
  • Oversees CRS licensing to ensure documentation and site inspections are completed to standard.
  • Reviews response to County Licensors and DHS licensors/investigators.
  • Responsible for providing oversight of regulatory practices for all service delivery staff including quality of care, compliance, and adherence to funding contracts.
  • Audits timecards and schedules and ensures EVV is adhered to.
  • Review rate management worksheets and companion documents for all individuals, ensuring exception process meets budgetary expectations. Report data in executive meetings.
  • Working in conjunction with the Residential Directors, contribute to the development of program related budget needs aligning with quality care expectations and company procedures.
  • Oversee the process and communication with maltreatment, abuse, and neglect cases. Services as the secondary individual responsible for receiving internal reports of maltreatment and for forwarding internal reports to the Minnesota Adult Abuse Reporting Center.
  • Review individual and team grievances and direct action steps for remediation.
  • Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive for direct reports and review the performance evaluations at the manager and the supervisor level.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with agency policy for direct reports.
  • Responsible for contributing to the recruitment of qualified clinical talent including licensed clinical professionals by making professional connections with academic institutions, industry organizations, etc.
  • Maintain awareness of and provide communication regarding industry standards and market trends within the geographical area.
  • Responsible for researching, identifying, and completing grant opportunities for the organization.
  • Participate in the HS, SM collaborative meetings, one time per quarter or as needed.
  • Lead the Residential Director meeting weekly/bi-weekly.
  • Visit, check-in, and audit each Genesis Group Home site, quarterly.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in related area required. Master's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in a leadership role managing multiple teams.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft office applications.
