We are excited to share an extraordinary opportunity for the right person to join a strong and impactful team as our Executive Director for Carolina SeniorCare in Lexington, NC. Carolina SeniorCare is a non-profit provider of PACE services sponsored by EveryAge, a Newton, NC-based, not-for-profit ministry offering senior housing and services for over 45 years.

About PACE: PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) is a comprehensive health care program designed to address the desires of elders who wish to remain in their community while receiving needed medical and supportive services. PACE offers a continuum of care to seniors with chronic care needs while encouraging independence in their own homes for as long as possible.

Carolina SeniorCare is proud to offer this service to the community. This model of healthcare has been in existence for over 35 years throughout the United States. The program focuses on prevention and wellness with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and their families through care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effective planning, organization, administration, and evaluation of the organization's operations.
  • Ensuring appropriate personnel perform their functions within the organization.
  • Managing all aspects of Carolina SeniorCare including a primary care medical clinic, a provider network, a 24-hour care delivery system, therapeutic services, a day health center, home care, transportation, and Quality Assurance activities.
  • Ensuring the financial viability and continued growth of the program.
  • Managing business relationships with all contracted providers.
  • Managing State and Federal relationships surrounding Elderhaus.
  • Acting in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern Carolina SeniorCare.
  • Ensuring the highest quality of care, service, and safety is maintained.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in health care administration, business administration, nursing, public health, social work, or related health/human services field from an accredited college or university required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year's successful experience in working with the frail or elderly population required.
  • Minimum of three years' health care executive level management experience.
  • Clinical operation experience preferred.
