Role Summary/Purpose
The Overhaul Quality Leader will provide strategic and technical leadership to drive Zero Defect Culture and Proactive Quality across the global Overhaul network. The person in this role will lead the global quality organization across Overhaul operations and partner with MRO and Services leadership to drive continuous improvement.
Essential Responsibilities
Strategic
- Owner of Zero Defect Culture and Proactive Quality for Overhaul operations
- Collaborate with Services Business Leadership on Breakthrough Objectives and Top Level Improvement Priorities
- Champion the Lean Transformation in Overhaul Quality operations, providing subject matter expertise on methods and Problem Solving tools
- Partner with customer teams and directly with customers on quality improvement to enhance the customer experience
- Drive advanced quality tool maturation in Overhaul operations.
- Partner with SAFRAN MRO quality leadership in CFM quality initiatives.
Organizational
- Lead a decentralized global team of quality professionals.
- Work closely with horizontal team in services, programs, product support engineering, customer teams, and extended quality organization.
- Coach/mentor team on an ongoing basis.
Operational
- Assure performance to Key Performance Indicators in delivered and in process quality.
- Maintain strong regulatory compliance across network.
- Drive and maintain regulatory and operator approvals in partnership with engine programs and overall network strategy.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related experience
- Experienced People Leader
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to travel - 30%
