What You'll Do in This Position
SRNS is seeking a Smart (SmartPlant) 3D System Administrator/Designer to support design engineering at Savannah River Site (SRS) on a full-time, permanent basis. This position plays a crucial role in optimizing Smart 3D to support engineering and construction projects, focusing on data management, configuration, customization, security, and user support.
Candidates should possess skills and experience in several areas:
Understanding of design standards and techniques across mechanical, piping, electrical, HVAC, instrumentation, and structural disciplines and how they are implemented within Smart 3D.
Provide support regarding the functionality of the tool to the user base.
Champion continuous improvement using the tool and industry best practices.
Prepare project specific Smart 3D work instructions for the user base.
Qualifications We Desire
College degree in engineering, technical or mechanical area is preferred.
Familiarity with facility processes, systems, and equipment. Progressive experience in practical engineering knowledge and its application. Advanced knowledge of site work control procedures and practices for maintenance, calibration, and operations. Clear understanding of work hazards, safety programs, operating configuration and lockout/hold identification.
Additional specialized knowledge preferred varies with the particular technical assignment.
