The Expert Planning & Scheduling is responsible for the effective execution, and management of the end-to-end integrated schedule development, coordination, and control process throughout the life cycle of projects. Enables project teams to target competitive schedule solutions and provide critical input for the project risk management process.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
Supervises and assure the quality and timeliness of all scheduling and planning activities
Drives standardization into scheduling process and directs function oversight to any contracted scheduling services
Ensures appropriate schedule detail level is utilized based on project execution requirements and project phase
Ensures schedules are properly loaded with project resources to facilitate effective staffing and resource density analysis
Ensures key metrics and benchmarks (internal and external) are in place to effectively gauge schedule performance and promote continuous improvement.
Ensures the schedule supports the change management process
Leads schedule update meetings, as required
Perform a variety of tasks associated with the development and maintenance of highly complex Primavera P6 project schedules including; WBS structure development, logic links, constraints, resource loading, progress tracking, earned value reporting, float management, etc

Minimum Required
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
5+ years' experience in the commercial construction industry and 10+ years of scheduling experience preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred
Experience in construction industry; specific to semiconductor plants, clean rooms and tool installs. Design and/or construction of process or clean utility systems
Experience working with engineering, procurement, and contractors
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Exceptional organization and coordination skills
Basic understanding of Project Controls Functions
Thorough understanding of proven scheduling techniques and practices
