Our growth is prompting our search for a Commercial TI Estimator.

What you can expect:

The Exterior Project Manager will work as part of the Exterior Design team and will report to the Sr. Exterior Project Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing exterior site design projects from inception to completion. This role takes full ownership of assigned projects and involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will:
  • Coordinate project communication, meetings, and site visits.
  • Attend and lead project meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up.
  • Present finishes and materials to clients effectively. Use visuals, samples, and expert advice to help them make informed choices.
  • Provide regular project updates to clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Present plans to clients for their approval in a clear and concise manner, using visuals and explanations to help them understand the design concepts and options. Address any questions or concerns they may have and be prepared to adjust based on their feedback.
  • Track project status and follow up on pending items.
  • Monitor cost reports and billings to ensure project profitability.
  • Attend job walks to assess site conditions and identify potential challenges.
  • Develop detailed proposals outlining the project's scope, timeline, budget, and deliverables. Provide comprehensive client presentations that clearly communicate the project's value proposition and address any potential concerns or questions.
  • Coordinate project design and development.
  • Ensure timely completion of drawings, CDs, and permits.
  • Assist the production team in maintaining CAD standards and ensuring that drawings are accurate and consistent. Review drawings regularly to identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies and provide feedback to the production team on how to improve their work.
  • Collaborate closely with design consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure that the project's design vision is realized. Coordinate their efforts, resolve conflicts, and maintain open lines of communication.
  • Develop innovative and creative design concepts that meet the client's needs and objectives. Conduct thorough research to identify the latest trends and best practices in the industry and incorporate them into the design process.
  • Create detailed design drawings that accurately convey the project's design intent. Work closely with the design team to ensure that the drawings are clear, concise, and easy to understand.
  • Proactively identify and address potential design challenges before they become problems. Conduct regular reviews of the design plans to ensure that they are feasible, cost-effective, and comply with all applicable regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure that everyone is on the same page. Provide clear and concise explanations of the design concepts and options and address any questions or concerns that may arise.
  • Review and approve plans, submittals, shop drawings, and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Issue bulletins and addendums as needed.


The ideal Estimator will have:
  • Technical or vocational training in architectural drafting or computer-aided design AutoCAD required
  • Experience with site planning design specifications and industry standards
  • 4+ years' experience in commercial construction industry
  • Strong understanding and knowledge in industry building codes and standards
  • Employee must be able to drive for business
  • Technically inclined, detail-oriented skills
  • Strong knowledge with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Power-Point, Outlook), InDesign, Photo Shop, Adobe Suite, Illustrator, Sketch up, Bluebeam & Procore
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to effectively communicate with clients
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with tight schedules
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust to changing deadlines
  • Highly dependable
  • Must have the ability to work independently in a team environment

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 - $100,000 annually. Full time positions will be eligible for a full healthcare benefit package after 60 days of employment and a safe harbor company 401k match starts after 90 days of employment. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training. Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.
